Modeling for Google Earth requires a deep understanding of how 3D models are constructed. Models that qualify to be displayed on a Google Earth’s ‘3D Buildings’ layer need to have a number of specialized optimizations. Experience in photography and computer graphics is a must for achieving professional results.
I have built the Cathedral to show an example of how a model of a building can be presented not only in the program itself and in the 3D Warehouse, but also as a part of a web page.
It can be an excellent opportunity to clearly show a location of a building / business, possible access routes with a benefit of internet links added into it, to bring a visitor to a target website.
It can be a great chance for any business, which has its own distinct location, to mark its presence on a 3D map of Galway City or County. It can be used as a marketing tool, especially for hotels, bigger companies and real estate agencies.
Are you interested in having your building presented on ‘Buildings 3D’ layer in Google Earth and on your website?
Please do not hesitate to contact me for a free quote. I primarily want to provide my services in Galway County, but I am open to enquires from other parts of the Republic of Ireland.
Please follow a link below to see the Cathedral in full 3D. The second link will lead you to a sample of a development, currently being built, shown in its original context. Instalation of the Google Earth Web Plugin will be required.
